Our silicone materials combine high continuous heat resistance1, excellent low-temperature flexibility2 and consistent elasticity over a wide temperature range. They are specifically designed for the high demands of the agricultural sector and meet important criteria for food safety for safe and hygienic applications. Food-compliant versions meet the requirements of BfR Recommendation XV (Silicones), FDA 21 CFR § 177.2600, Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006. When designed accordingly, they can be odourless and tasteless. They are free of plasticisers and suitable for contact with sensitive media. They also impress with their resistance to moisture, cleaning agents and disinfectants as well as changing environmental conditions – ensuring permanently reliable and hygienic processes in daily use.
