Thermochromic

The thermochromic property can be individually configured, both in terms of the switching temperature and the color values. Depending on the requirements, the color design can be freely implemented, for example:

• Blue → White
• Violet → Red
• or further customer-specific color combinations upon request

The temperature ranges are defined application-specifically and are reversible, so that the color change is reliably reversed upon cooling. This allows thermochromic silicone to be precisely tailored to the respective application and offers an innovative way of visual temperature monitoring.

It is particularly suited where temperature needs to be made visible simply and immediately, for example:

• Temperature indication on fluid-carrying hoses
• Laboratory cabinet and equipment seals with visual temperature control
• Safety-relevant areas where threshold temperatures must be quickly identified

The specific design is always carried out on an application- and customer-specific basis.
